Risk.Taking.

Risk taking is free. We've all taken one, one way or another. The whole concept of trying something new gives you that little excitement that you've been missing out. It's easy to be skeptical of something your not familiar with, but its the whole curious nature which attracts us to the situation. As my day begins..

I wake up around 8:45 because I actually have a late class (in other words I had first spare) School wasn't bad except for one thing its school. So the day begins to unfold. I get informed about this so called beginner's hip hop dance academy ma-jig, courtesy of mark. At first I'm like sure why not, nothing wrong with it, its for beginners so its good to try something new. Mark and I arrive at the academy as we wait for Noemi. The moment I walk in, I'm like no way I am so backing out of this right now. Then, Noemi arrives and we go on into the academy. The 12$ fee seemed like a reasonable price, and it sure was worth it in the end. It turns out that the so-called coreography which was "simple" wasn't as simple as I would have liked. Yet, I managed to learn the moves...just not at the same speed as the others. Oh, well the instructor was pretty chill and I had a fun time doing it so in the end taking that risk, was worth it. Afterwards, we were pretty hungry so we decided to grab a bite at this sushi place, pretty good must say. Then their was this asian waitress, who was kind of weird in a nice way. She was staring at us while we ate, I think she thought we were immigrants haha. So we leave and decide to walk on down.

It was really cold. Like cold not hot. So when we decided to end by skating you can kind of assume that we were crazy. It turns out I wasn't the only one to try something new. Noemi was skating for the first time. Luckily she had Mark and I for support. haha. She did pretty good first time around. As for Mark, well he tried something new too. Some crossover skating, and he didn't fall so thats a good thing lol. All in all, in was a cold day, but in 4 hours we accomplised some new things, besides the best things in life are free. Or so I'm told haha.

Right.Now.

Ok so this whole blog thing is still kind of new to so I'll probably just ramble about nonsense. I figured writing would probably keep my mind off some things so here I go. The first month of January has just come and gone. Its really unpredicatable as to how time just comes and goes without you really noticing it. We often see ourselves doing everyday things from the ordinary to the extraordinary, but we never realize just how time flies. Eighteen years of age, and not getting any younger (sadly). It makes you think about the future, what happens next, but most importantly you begin to think about the now. What we do now makes what we are tommorow. I'm off to a pretty good start. January has been full of ups and down, but what month isn't. As for the ups, I just got hired part-time at costco as supposed to seasonal, recently got my g1 with mark velarga, and managed to get a solid 80 in eclass for english. They said to start 2009 with a bang, well lets keep that going right now. School nowadays, its a drag, can't believe that this isn't even the hard part yet. University bound, hopefully in the fall, and looking forward to it.

It seems as if everyone has there own thing now but its important that we remember who we are. Its easy to get lost in the spin of things, as change does that to people - change defined as to make different. Right now what I'm concerned with is making the best of each day, not worry about what has yet to come. Time isn't going to stop so we need to keep moving. February is going to come by quick. It is only 28 days after all. Well on the bright side when it is leap year you'll get an extra day which you didn't have before. So smile. I'm probably not making sense so I'll get right to the point. Enjoy what you have and where your at right now. Stress will come and go, but as for time you just got to make the most of it. As for me, I got to go pee right now, like right now. So until then. Laugh. (your probably laughing as I pee this instant)
